Privacy Policy

Energinn Technology Solutions Inc. ("Energinn", "we") respects the privacy of the people who use energinn.ca and our customer portal. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we protect it, in line with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. What we collect. Business contact details you give us: name, job title, company, work email, phone and addresses. Account and order information: quotations, orders, documents you upload (such as drawings or well data), delivery details and purchase order numbers. Payment information is entered directly with our payment processor; we do not store full card or bank account numbers. Technical information when you use the site: IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, used for security and to keep the service working.

2. Why we use it. To open and manage your account and verify your company; to prepare quotations, process orders, payments and deliveries; to send order, quotation and account notices; to provide technical support; to prevent fraud, abuse and spam; to comply with legal obligations, including tax, export control and sanctions screening; and, if you agree, to send occasional product or industry updates, which you can stop at any time.

3. Who we share it with. Only with service providers who help us run the business, under confidentiality obligations: our payment processor (Stripe), email delivery, website and database hosting and file storage providers, freight forwarders and carriers that move your orders, and the manufacturers or suppliers that fulfil them, limited to what they need (for example, a delivery address). We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell personal information.

4. International transfers. Some of our providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information processed abroad is subject to the laws of that country, including possible access by its authorities.

5. Retention. We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as long as required by tax, accounting and export-control rules, generally seven years after the last transaction, and then delete or anonymize them.

6. Your choices and rights. You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to optional uses such as marketing emails, by writing to us. We will respond within 30 days. Withdrawing consent to information we need to process orders may mean we cannot serve your account.

7. Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, language and region, and protect the site. We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Security. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections, restricted access to customer data and private storage for uploaded documents. No system is completely secure; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected people and the regulator as required by law.

9. Changes. We may update this policy; the current version and its date are always published on our website.
