ASCO Series 8320 3-way (3/2) direct-acting general service solenoid valves with all NPT connections in the valve body for in-line piping. No minimum operating pressure differential is required and the valve can be mounted in any position. Bodies in brass or 303 stainless steel, 1/8 in and 1/4 in NPT, Cv 0.06 to 0.35, in normally closed, normally open and universal (pressure at any port) constructions. Wetted parts: NBR or cast UR seals and disc, 305 stainless steel core tube, 430F stainless steel core and plugnut, 302 stainless steel springs. Standard solenoid enclosure watertight Types 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4 and 4X; optional explosionproof and watertight Types 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 7 and 9 (prefix EF). CSA certified, UL listed general purpose valves, meets applicable CE directives; SIL 3 capable per IEC 61508 on normally closed constructions; ATEX/IECEx with prefix EV on listed models. Nominal ambient AC 32 to 125 °F (0 to 52 °C), DC 32 to 104 °F (0 to 40 °C); some stainless steel constructions rated -40 °F (-40 °C). Standard voltages 24, 120, 240, 480 V AC 60 Hz (110, 220 V AC 50 Hz) and 6, 12, 24, 120, 240 V DC, specified when ordering.
