We work closely with clients to understand real-world operational needs, offering customized NEMA 1 and NEMA 3R/4 VFD systems for ALS applications. Available in low-voltage (380–480V) 50/60Hz configurations and 600V options, CanFit VFDs come in standard NEMA 1 air-cooled, NEMA 3R heat exchanger air/air, and NEMA 3R/4 conditioned enclosures, rated for –40°C to +55°C.

FEATURES

Neoprene gaskets seal the door openings to prevent the ingress of dust and moisture. Special latches securely fasten the doors within their sealed openings. The cabinets can optionally be equipped with input harmonic filters, output sine wave filters, bypass contactor systems, graphic recorders, PLC control systems, redundant air conditioning systems, junction boxes for incoming and outgoing cables, auxiliary power panels, and virtually any other device the end user wishes to install.

BENEFITS

For Electric Submersible Pump (ESP), Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP), Horizontal Pumping System (HPS), and Sucker Rod Pump (SRP) applications, the CanFit VFD family is an ideal choice. The drive is available in normal service ratings of 40°C and higher, with an overload capacity of 110% or 150%, depending on the model.

FEATURES

The CanFit VFD offers a full range of AC drives for both induction motors and permanent magnet synchronous motors. It integrates multiple control modes in a single product: V/Hz, open-loop vector, and closed-loop flux vector control for induction motors, as well as closed-loop, open-loop, and advanced open-loop control for permanent magnet motors. Advanced current, voltage, and torque detection enable fast response and precise position sensing.

The CanFit high-power VFD line features a modular design with separate converter and inverter sections housed within a common cabinet. These sections can be connected in parallel to increase capacity up to 1800 amps (VT) at both 460V and 600V.

By using a modular approach, the drives maintain component uniformity across the 350 to 2000 HP range. Slide-rail construction techniques allow for easy access for maintenance, removal, or replacement.

The CanFit VFD comes factory-programmed and ready to operate with the smart controller, which provides a simplified and intuitive user interface. All standard programming is available, eliminating the need for the integrated keypad.

Additionally, the smart controller offers comprehensive ALS application protection features, including speed control and setpoints, underload and overload protection, overcurrent monitoring, torque monitoring, low and high voltage protection, reverse rotation prevention, backspin protection, and fundamental output voltage monitoring via the Reverse Rotation and Ground Fault Relay (RRGFR).

FEATURES

The smart controller includes complete log files and 16 independently selectable trend channels. For improved data management, the controller can connect directly to a PC via a USB-USB cable, with all operational software integrated into the controller, allowing users to interact through a PC web browser. Log data can be accessed via wired or wireless connection to a PC or downloaded to a generic USB drive. Once transferred to a PC, our patented Trendview software can be used to graph selected data, including circular format visualizations.

The CanFit VFD also supports advanced connectivity demands with network communication options such as TCP/IP and MODBUS. Coordination with other equipment is simplified through 2 analog input/output connections.
