The Rosemount 8732EM is the field-mount transmitter of the Rosemount 8700M magnetic flow meter platform, available in integral or remote mounting with an explosion-proof housing and an optional backlit display with optical-switch local operator interface. Outputs: 4-20 mA with HART and scalable pulse, intrinsically safe 4-20 mA HART with intrinsically safe pulse, FOUNDATION Fieldbus (FISCO), Modbus RS-485 or EtherNet/IP, each with scalable pulse output. Power supply: 90 to 250 Vac 50/60 Hz, 12 to 42 Vdc, 12 to 30 Vdc low power (integral mount, HART or Modbus) or 20 to 32 Vdc (EtherNet/IP). Reference accuracy is 0.25% of rate standard and 0.15% of rate with the high accuracy option. It has three independent totalizers, two optional discrete channels and basic diagnostics, with optional advanced diagnostics (high process noise, coated electrode detection and SMART Meter Verification). Compatible with Rosemount 8705 flanged (1/2 to 36 in), 8711 wafer and 8721 hygienic sensors, and with AC and DC sensors of other manufacturers. Flow range 0.04 to 39 ft/s (0.01 to 12 m/s), forward and reverse; process liquid conductivity of 5 microsiemens/cm or greater.
