The Fisher FIELDVUE DVC6200 is a HART communicating digital valve controller that converts a two-wire 4 to 20 mA control signal into a pneumatic output to an actuator, and can be retrofitted in place of analog positioners on most Fisher and non-Fisher pneumatic actuators. Its linkage-less, non-contact position feedback has no wearing parts, and the fully encapsulated electronics resist vibration, temperature and corrosive atmospheres. If position feedback fails, it reverts to pressure control mode. Mounting: integral to Fisher 657/667 or GX actuators, window mounting to Fisher rotary actuators, sliding-stem linear (rated travel 0.25 in / 6.35 mm to 23-7/8 in / 606 mm) and quarter-turn rotary (45 to 180 deg; 180 deg needs a special kit), and other actuators per IEC 60534-6-1, IEC 60534-6-2, VDI/VDE 3845 and NAMUR. Key specifications: HART 5 or HART 7; action double, single direct or single reverse; supply up to 10.0 bar / 145 psig or the actuator maximum rating, whichever is lower; air or natural gas; output span up to 9.5 bar / 140 psig; accuracy and linearity ±0.5% of output span; operating temperature -40 to +85 °C (-52 °C with the Extreme Temperature option). Connections 1/4 NPT supply and output, 3/8 NPT vent, 1/2 NPT or M20 electrical. Housing in low-copper aluminum (standard) or stainless steel. Approvals include CSA, FM, ATEX and IECEx (intrinsically safe, explosion-proof/flameproof), IP66 / Type 4X, and SIL 3 capable. Options include integral 4-20 mA position transmitter, integral limit switch, low bleed relay, remote mount and integral filter regulator. Performance diagnostics (with ValveLink software) monitor the whole valve assembly while it controls the process.
