Round power cable for electric submersible pumps, 5 kV, rated 450 °F (232 °C). Three plain annealed solid copper conductors, each with extruded EPDM insulation (0.075 in nominal) and an extruded lead sheath (0.040 in nominal), cabled together under an extruded EPDM jacket (0.060 in nominal) and a galvanized steel tape armour (0.020 in). Sizes #1, #2, #4 and #6 AWG; overall diameter 1.42 in (#1) to 1.14 in (#6); approximate weight 2,587 to 1,586 lb per 1,000 ft. Maximum DC resistance at 25 °C 0.128 Ω/kft (#1) to 0.410 Ω/kft (#6); maximum leakage current 0.5 µA/kft/kV. On request: polyamide film over the conductor, FEP jacket over the insulation, PTFE, nylon braid or glass tape bedding, stainless steel or Monel armour, a single or double capillary tube, and custom designs.
