The Honeywell Sensepoint XCD monitors flammable, toxic and oxygen gas hazards in potentially explosive atmospheres, indoors and outdoors. Scale, range, relay operation, alarm set point and tag number are adjusted through the LCD and non-intrusive magnetic switches, without opening the unit; outputs are inhibited automatically during adjustment. The tri-color backlit LCD shows steady green in normal operation, flashing yellow on fault and flashing red on alarm. Three transmitter types share a common platform and auto-recognize any plug-in sensor of their family: mV transmitter for catalytic bead flammable sensors (0-100 %LEL) and infrared sensors for hydrocarbons (0-100 %LEL and 0-100 %Vol) and carbon dioxide (0-2 %Vol); EC transmitter for Surecell electrochemical CO, H2S and H2 sensors; and O2 transmitter for oxygen sensors. Every detector is supplied pre-configured with 2 programmable alarm relays, 1 programmable fault relay, a 4-20 mA output (sink or source selectable) and Modbus. Stainless steel or aluminum explosion-proof housing, IP66 as standard, integral mounting plate, two M20 or 3/4 in NPT entries depending on certification, and weatherproof cap included. Approvals listed include UL, INMETRO, ATEX, IECEx, CSA, KTL, PA, GB and CCCF. Optional accessories: pipe mounting bracket, remote sensor mounting kit, duct mounting kit, sunshade/deluge protection, collecting cone and calibration gas flow housing.
