ASCO Series 8316 3-way internally pilot operated diaphragm poppet solenoid valves for controlling air, inert gas and liquids. Brass body in 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 in NPT, normally closed or normally open, with Cv from 2.5 to 12.5. Operating pressure differential from 10 psi minimum up to 150 psi (6.1 W coil) or 250 psi (17.1 W coil) for air-inert gas, depending on the catalog number; a 10 psi minimum differential must be maintained. Maximum fluid temperature 180 °F (AC) / 120 °F (DC). NBR seals, disc and diaphragm; stainless steel core tube, core and springs. Resilient seating for tight shutoff and mountable in any position. Standard watertight solenoid enclosure Types 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4 and 4X; explosionproof Types 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 7 and 9 optional (prefix EF). CSA certified; ATEX/IECEx with prefix EV where listed. Standard voltages 24, 120, 240, 480 VAC 60 Hz (110, 220 VAC 50 Hz) and 6, 12, 24, 120, 240 VDC.
