Specification sheet for Energinn's 1/4 in OD tubing encapsulated cable (TEC) with a 316L stainless armor. The armor is ASTM A240 Grade 316/316L tubing, 0.250 in ± 0.004 in OD with a 0.028 in wall, over a single 18 AWG conductor of ASTM B8 Class B stranded (7/26) tin-plated copper, ETFE insulation and a polypropylene filler.

The sheet lists electrical values at 20 °C and 150 °C: conductor resistance of 6.7 and 10.2 ohm per 1000 ft, armor resistance of 18.5 and 19.1 ohm per 1000 ft, and a capacitance of about 26 to 27.5 pF/ft. Collapse pressure is 23,000 psi at 20 °C and 17,600 psi at 150 °C, with working pressures of 17,250 and 13,200 psi.

It also gives the temperature rating (-25 °C to 150 °C), armor yield (minimum 75 ksi) and tensile strength (minimum 90 ksi), elongation, hardness, core slip force and a completed mass of 86 lb per 1000 ft. Use it to check a downhole gauge or sensor line against well pressure and temperature before ordering.
